BOV BECOMES FIRST LOCAL BANK TO ACHIEVE ISO 37001 CERTIFICATION
Bank of Valletta has been awarded by Bureau Veritas Malta the ISO 37001 certification on Anti-Bribery Management Systems.
Anti-Bribery: the recognition of BOV’s Policy and Practices
The ISO 37001 standard is designed to help organisations prevent, detect, and respond to bribery. This certification recognises the Bank’s clear policy and stance against bribery, its Leadership commitment to actively support and promote anti-bribery efforts, and its Compliance function overseeing the Bank’s Anti-Bribery Management System. The Bank was also acknowledged for its risk assessment, reporting and investigation mechanisms, and the due diligence applied to projects, business associates, and transactions.
