What is the ISO 45001:2018 standard?

How to obtain certification according to the ISO 45001 guideline?

The main stages of the certification process proposed by Bureau Veritas include:

  • Preliminary verification (upon request)
    Gap analysis and assessment of the client's current compliance with regulatory requirements;
  • Initial Audit
    To evaluate the implementation of OHSAS principles and basic structure (analysis of context and stakeholders, most significant risks and hazards, applicable legislation and regulations, description of the system);
  • Certification audit or Main Audit
    With certificate issuance;
  • Surveillance visits
    To ensure the proper maintenance of the system;
  • Certification renewal after 3 years.

After each audit, the company receives a clear and comprehensive report, which allows it to continuously improve its health and safety management performance.
